Saved AI keys

Save a key

Open Settings → AI keys and press Add key. Pick the provider (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Muse or another OpenAI-compatible API, which also needs its https base URL), give the key a name and paste it. The key is encrypted on our server and never shown again; you only see its name and last 4 characters.

Press Test to make one short call and confirm the key works. Tests are limited to 10 per hour per key.

Use it in a bot

Open one of your bots in Bots, go to its brain settings, choose the same provider and pick "Saved key: <name>" instead of pasting a key. Save, then press Test saved settings. Every bot you own in the same workspace can share one saved key.

Replace or delete

Replace key swaps the value for every linked bot at once, which is the easy way to rotate a key. Delete removes it; bots that used it are switched off until you give them another key.

Who can use a key

A saved key belongs to one person in one workspace. Only that person's own bots there, on the same provider (and the same address for OpenAI-compatible APIs), can use it. This is checked again on every reply, and the key stops working for your bots if you leave the workspace. Up to 20 keys per workspace.
